The 2008 summit, Cardiovascular Safety in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Development, was co-sponsored by MPI Research and The Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center. The summit featured keynote speaker, Marc Penn, Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Cleveland Clinic and a cardiologist in the Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cell Biology.
