Director of Analytical Chemistry! |
MPI Research announced that Stefan A. Nyarady,
Ph.D. joined the company as the Director
of Analytical Chemistry. In this capacity,
he will re-establish the analytical laboratory
at MPI Research to support the toxicology
testing program. He came to MPI Research
from W. K. Kellogg Institute for Food and
Nutrition Research in Battle Creek, Michigan
where he served as its Senior Scientist of
Research, Quality, and Technology specializing
in analytical chemistry. He also served as
a Development Scientist for Pfizer, Inc.
in Groton, Connecticut and a Senior Development
Chemist for Coors Brewing Company in Golden,
Colorado. He provides a broad range of technical
expertise and has evaluated and validated
analytical methodology used for production
of active pharmaceutical ingredients, dosage
forms, and clinical samples. Dr. Nyarady
received his Ph.D. from the University of
Colorado, Boulder, Colorado in Analytical
Chemistry.
James Laveglia, Ph.D., Executive Vice President
and Director of Research, commented, “We
are very excited about having our analytical
capability on site. It is an important aspect
of our toxicology testing program and will
provide faster results for our Sponsors.
With Dr. Nyarady’s experience and leadership,
the analytical laboratory will be up and
running by the end of June.”
